I have always loved Marketing and Promotion and I am originally from Norway and got one degree in marketing from Norway as well as one from the US.
I started early on promoting and producing my own Social events and have seen them grow from 200 to 5,000+ and this is actually from there my current Product / Idea / Invention derived from. When I would promote / market an event one of the "tasks" as a promoter would be to Hand Out Printed Fliers to potential Attendees...and very often when you met someone on the street or in a bar or at a party you had about 10 to 30 SECONDS to pitch your Event / Party...and that usually did not cut it....very few would respond favorably....I was thinking "What a Waste Of Time This IS"...so I started thinking..."How can I Change That Interaction to Get what I want?"...so I came up with the RipCard Idea....I said to myself: "What if I can GIVE them Something First...something that they would want...so that I could at Least INCREASE the Chances of Getting what I wanted... An Email or a phone number... And it worked like a charm...I would tell them, that if I Signed One of these Halves and Put + One, they could bring a friend for FREE to my Party...and all I would ask in return was their email address or phone number...it worked like a charm...in 95 to 98% of the times...I would get an email / phone number...so NOW I could market to them leading up to the party...AND they would Most likely also invite some friends of their that would be Paying customers to me...it was a Win, Win situation as I built my Customer Base, increased the number of attendees...and made my Sponsors even more happy at the same time.
This is how the RipCard Evolved and soon I realized that I could do this for Many, Many other industries and this is the HUGE opportunity I am going after now ;-)
I also have extensive training in setting up JV's / Joint Ventures and I see that as the Ultimate Marketing Tool that any Marketer could use....it is The Most Effective, Most Leveraged way to take any new product to market....actually any existing product to penetrate new markets....and I am using the JV principle to market my RipCards and its phenomenal success that lies ahead.

I don't know if I necessarily have a claim to fame, but I have gotten some kind of reputation for Throwing some Outrageously Great Halloween Parties (and other parties....mind you) here in The City under the Party name "AlfandAlf.com". In 2006 we had 5,000 attendees at City Hall, 10 DJ's, 5 Venues in one, Fashion Show....and the list goes on.... You could say it went down in history. ;-)
However, many people don't know that I also was no. 2 in the World in Hacky Sack / Footbag (in doubles....love that Team Sport) and no. 3 in singles... and also was awarded the silver medal in the Norwegian sailing championships when I was 12 years old. ;-)
I guess another claim to fame that would be worthwhile mentioning here is that Mark Victor Hansen, the Co-Author of Chicken Soup for the Soul brought me up on stage in front of several hundred people when he first saw my RipCard....and said..."Alf...this is a Fantastic Idea, I have never seen a card like this before....tell us all more about it ;-).... " and of course I willingly did. I will be happy to credit him for Nudging me along in the beginning ;-)....Thank you Mark...you Da Man!

I learned to take risk more often and I am constantly pushing the envelope ....which I also will until I am 120 years of age and wisdom. ;-)

Through Selling these new revolutionary business cards and back end sales (additional products and services) as I establish great relations with these Clients.
What we basically are doing is to set up relationships with Printing Houses and Organizations allowing them to Sell our Patent Pending RipCards.
To break it down a little bit more....basically when our Client comes to www.RipCard.com they have a few options:
1. They can use our Editor / Online Program to design their own card right there and then.
2. Or they can simply copy one of the many templates that we have already designed for them and just add their own personal information.
3. Or lastly...they could very inexpensively hire one of our Great Designers and they will design a card for them in one, two, three.
....then they would select how many RipCards they want and simply select which of our printers they would like to use and they would have their RipCards in their hands a few days later.
...it is all very turn key and easily scalable.
Then of course the really big opportunity here is through the Back End products sales. This is really where the interesting money is going to kick in and we see this as a HUGE potential to make a lot of money and a big difference in someone's life.
