I'm a serial entrepreneur. Started a high tech distributor in Germany and grew it to the largest European distributor. The company grew to $5Billion in revenue and merged with Techdata in 1996. Started Asonic, which became the largest European Banyan Network implementer. Started my third company Infinigate in 1996 which became one of the largest Internet Security provider in Europe. Founded Webstock, the first online trading company in Europe. In 2001 I moved to the US, started BlueRoads a PRM Software as a Service (SaaS) business, raised three rounds of funding and made it the most successful PRM company in the US. In 2007 I started my seventh and last company: Xeequa with the vision to leverage the social networking movement for businesses to create a better business experience. This time it is all self funded.

Xeequa provides the most comprehensive “Social Business Suite” consisting of social networks, business networks, blogs, forums, groups, online collaboration and more. It is especially designed for businesses, supports corporate organization structures and enhanced privacy protection.
Xeequa was founded in 2007, the first communities were launched in April 2008, we are currently building multiple business communities per week and developed partners in the US, Europe and Asia.

The old model of cold calling, mass advertising and push sales is no longer attractive to the people we like to win as customers. Businesses are orthogonal relative to the expected behavior of the buying and consuming world. Our business society created the biggest "Business Divide" ever. Xeequa is bringing businesses together in a new and more human way. Introducing better ways to collaborate across company boundaries and network with people and companies as well as facilitating a meaningful dialog between all parties.
The result is a more economic (better marketing ROI) and more attractive (actually having a dialog between all parties) way of doing business

I'm very passioned about the idea that the industrialization in the 1800s was not because the invention of machines but the fact that people gravitated around machines and factories and dramatically advanced all kinds of skills by being able to communicate and share ideas in a speed like never before.
The next phase in our business society is elevating our communication methods by order of magnitude - world wide. Turning the possibilities into business reality by building the most comprehensive social business platform is what I am REALLY passioned about..

BUYERS don't trust advertising or sales pitches, hence they need to find new ways to educate themselves, typically through the Internet and its groups, forums, blogs etc. It is frustrating!
USERS then have a hard time to find support and need to explore ways to connect with other users to get their experience. It is disappointing!
SELLERS continue to push out mailings, advertising and outsources cold calls nobody is interested in with a constantly declining ROI. It is expensive!
SERVICE is under cost pressure and can't support their growing user community adequately. It cost market share!
