Lakeisha, My Business Partner, and I have always been "Go Getters". We’ve excelled in our academics and continue to excel in our current positions. Lakeisha has a Bachelor’s in Finance and a Masters in Business Administration and I have my Bachelor’s in Accounting. We have been very diligent in making money for the companies we work for, but would like to start fulfilling our hopes and dreams. We developed a friendship through our like thinking and our similar dreams. We both dreamed of having a business that could help people create or develop a small business with the tools they needed to succeed. We also wanted to create a business that helped consumers looking for services they needed in their community or in visiting communities. We both experienced this void in the marketplace when we moved to TN and California. This is what led us to In the Loop, a web-based Small Business Consulting Company and Community Search Engine. Small Businesses can gain insight on what consumers want and Consumers can tell Small Businesses what they want.

Our Biggest Success to-date would be our Education. I graduated High School and College with my Bachelors Degree within 6 years at age 20. Lakeisha graduated High School and College obtaining both her Bachelors and Master Degree with in 8 years at age 22. This is our biggest accomplishment considering we both come from families and communities where education was not always priority. We were also surrounded by peers who were not motivated to further therir education or dream big. We truly believe without the above accomplishment, our current lives and dreams wouldn’t be possible. The trials and tribulations we went through to reach our Biggest Success definitely helped sculpt us into who we are today.

“It is not always what you know, but who you know.” This is a lesson that is forever prevalent in Business. From this we learned the importance of networking. You may have the knowledge, but if you can not find others to believe or support your idea, it ceases to exist. Many great people have had a dream that went unheard.

Word-of-mouth advertising will be our biggest asset, however, we will leverage Social Media, Blogs, Search Engines, Press, etc. Each Business will have an assigned Business Consultant to assist with the development of their business.
