Born and raised Bay Area Native. Studied at SF Art Institute. I also completed Business Planning I and II through the Women's Initiative for Self Employment. Traveled extensively. On my resume and my interviews I was always asked "What is this educational travel"? At the time I didn't have much of an answer, now thirty years later. I have a Travel Agency and DVD collection with images from my travels. I also have been a pioneer in Holistic Medicine. My experience is primarily, Printing, Graphics, Publishing, Multimedia, Advertising and Marketing. I've also spent about 20 years in Entertainment. At this point in my life (after being wiped out by the '05~'06 NYE flood FEMA Disaster #1628) I am furthering my medical training and opening up 3 new business's Travel, Health Product Distribution, and Business Development. I have an office, I recently rented and am in the process of locating a conference table,so I can conduct product rollouts. I'm interested in building a online network and deliver my products and services via the World Wide Web!

My online Travel Agency offers anything and everything! At a lower $$$ 90% of the time. My Health product distribution is for people with Sports Injuries or Diabetes or Arthrietis. It can also be consumed for preventative and overall well being. The Business Development is a series of Webinars, DVD's and coaching. As well as a online educational program. My purpose/goal is to share with others what I have experienced as success and an overall well rounded life. Oh by the way my travel agency also has Golf Pkgs!

Challenge:

It's a toss up betweent the FEMA Disaster #1628 and I'm too nice. I have had to be firmer and set boundaries with people who are not on the same path as me. Which isn't all bad it opens up space for people who are on the same page. By owning my own business vs. building a business within other corporations it will allow me to have resources available to me should I experience another natural disaster. I just walked through it a day at a time and waited for it to pass.

Advice:

Listen to your motivational speakers. Manage your time wisely, do not continue with projects that are not giving you a return on your investment. Be prepared for natural disasters. Education is key.

Yes, my father and I would argue about it all the time. I didn't want to be tied down to the Bay Area. He insisted I own my own business. In the end Dad won. I can't image wanting to live anywhere else. There is no place like home.
